Sales Manager Dotta Foods LLC develops, produces, and delivers high-quality prepackaged foods to retail, food service, club, and eCommerce customers. Position: Dotta Foods LLC is seeking to hire a Sales Manager responsible for prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and closing new sales through our preserved food brand, World Gourmet, and private label. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the organizational sales by collaborating with the existing sales management team to develop business plans to set and achieve sales targets. The role will be reporting directly to the CEO To succeed in this role, excellent communication skills and the ability to be self-driven and work with a team to achieve expectations and accomplish sales goals will be needed. Responsibilities:
Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls.
Meet planned sales goals.
Drive new “good business”
Coach/mentor and apply consultative selling via prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and closing
Develop sales tools and supplier relationships to speed up the sales cycle (Easy to buy from, easy to sell for)
Search ways to Increase margins
Greater team collaboration with sales and sales support
Increased external communication
Setting individual sales targets with the sales management team.
Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
Prospecting & lead generation.
Promoting the organization and products.
Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Working directly with brokers and/or distributors to position and sell products
Develop new accounts and grow customer base.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record of leadership in managing and selling products in the food distribution industry.
Strong sales and presentation skills.
Existing relationships with key target customers a plus.
